Millennium Integrated Primary School are the first Integrated PS to win the NI Primary Netball championships.
A Spokesperson for Millennium IPS said:
“We couldn’t be prouder of the commitment and drive of the girls today. They reflected the hard work and commitment of Mr Gardner over the years and was well deserved. They came through the group stages unbeaten and performed so well in the semi final and the eventual final.
“ They played with pride and maturity today as well as showing real strength of character. As well as that they understood the importance of representing the values and ethos of Millennium.
“Sport can be such an important aspect to the development of a child’s character and today demonstrated how much it can mean to everyone involved.
“Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the girls, too. We couldn’t be prouder of all the success that the different teams have brought to the school as well as those children who have enjoyed all the different sporting opportunities school has offered.
“One last opportunity for Mrs Roulston to break out the celebration chariot!”
