Top comedy stars Ed Byrne, Grainne Maguire, and Wendy Wason will come together and stand up for a for a good cause in November.
Stand Up for Integrated Education, on Friday 02 November in the London Irish Centre, Camden Square, London will present an exciting line-up of talent in a one-off special which promises to tickle your ribs. All three comedians are giving their time in support of the Integrated Education Fund, the charity which works to grow integrated education in Northern Ireland in response to parental demand.
Ed Byrne is an acclaimed Irish stand-up comedian, voice over artist and actor. He has presented television shows Uncut! Unseen Ads and Just for Laughs and is a guest on many television panel games.
Grainne Maguire is an Irish comedian, writer of 8 out of 10 cats and Radio 4’s News quiz and the Now Show! She has appeared on BBC1′s Question Time, Daily Politics, ITV1′s Agenda and BBC Radio 4’s Women’s Hour.
Wendy Wason was already an established actress (TV shows include Coupling and The IT Crowd) when she launched her comedy career in 2004. She has since wowed audiences in the UK, Ireland and the USA and been a finalist in several stand-up awards.
Commenting on the great line-up for the show, IEF Chief Executive Tina Merron said:
