The Ulster Hall was packed upstairs and downstairs on 27 September. Tears of laughter flooded the building. Even the brilliant Ulster Hall staff were in stitches – and they’ve heard them all!
The occasion? Stand Up For Integrated Education, with Tim McGarry, David Meade, Wendy Wason, Neil Delamere and Colin Murphy. And Brexit wasn’t even mentioned!
They were all so good. So much energy came from the stage that the packed house responded with equal gusto. Roaring laughter and loud applause were the order of the night. After the interval, Baroness May Blood focussed minds – as only she can – with a stirring reminder of why everyone was there.
We thank everyone involved: the classy performers, the packed audience, the supporters who couldn’t make it but threw money in the pot.
It raised a lot of money and was great fun. Thank you Tim, Wendy, David, Colin and Neil. Maybe we’ll do it again sometime…
