The Integrated Education Fund was saddened to learn of the death of former US Ambassador to Ireland, Dan Rooney. Dan was a great friend to the peace process in Northern Ireland and over 40 years ago he helped to establish the Ireland Funds who have been tremendous supporters of integrated education over many years.
During his recent funeral in Pittsburgh this support was acknowledged by Cardinal Donald Wuerl.
