The Big Small Stories is a Northern Ireland Council for Integrated Education project aimed at capturing, recording and archiving the memories and experiences of the people behind the foundation and development of integrated schools.
Through oral history interviews and the collection of images and other heritage material from integrated schools, teachers, pupils, parents, principals, governors and the whole school community we will embark on an exciting journey to explore and uncover the history of integrated education.
Share your Big Small Stories
If you have been involved with integrated education, we would like to hear your stories or see any photographs you can share with us. We would like you to help us to create a heritage archive of images, photos, audio and videos that illustrate the history of integrated education which we will use to create:
• A public exhibition of the heritage of 65 integrated schools in 2017
• An educational App for tablets and smart phones in 2017-2018
• A high profile oral history publication about integrated education in 2018
If you have been involved in integrated education and have a story to tell, Contact Alexandra De La Torre, Project Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org or (028) 9097 2910.
