Integrated Education Fund

Children at Glengormley Integrated Primary School have been sharing their Easter celebrations with some special visitors.

Acting US Deputy Consul General Penny Wilkinson and her colleague Margaret Katsumi, the consulate’s political and economic officer, toured the school with Principal Nigel Arnold after the IEF arranged for them to see how the school works with children of varied backgrounds, cultures and nationalities. Pupils at Glengormley Integrated Primary School were glad to show off their new laptops when Baroness May Blood MBE visited the school’s IT suite. The equipment was bought thanks to a donation from the Australian Ireland Fund, after the charity’s  Executive Director, Teresa Keating, toured the school last summer on a trip organised by the Integrated Education Fund.
