Financial Support

The Integrated Education Fund can offer help, advice and financial support for schools wanting to transform to integrated status.The IEF is making available grants to help support schools and community groups during the transformation process:

Grants for schools exploring transformation (Grants of up to £2,500 available)
These IEF grants can help fund your school if you would like to, for example, hold information events to help raise awareness about exploring change. These events can help everyone to feel connected and fully informed about what is involved.

constituted community groups 
exploring transformation (Grants of up to £2,500 available)
This grant is also available for constituted community groups that are interested in exploring integrated education for their area. In addition to holding information events on integration, the money could be used to carry out local polls in order to measure the level of support for integrated education in your area.

Parkhall Integrated College 55Grants for schools transforming (Grants of up to £15,000 available)
Once your school has applied to the Department of Education and received approval to transform, IEF grants area available to support your school during the initial stages of the transformation journey. The journey involves a series of gradual and definite change, undertaken with the support of the whole school community.
