The IEF and NICIE are together hosting an event in Lagan College on Thursday 21 November, called TeachMeet 2019: Inclusion, Innovation and Inspiration. This event, which runs from 5pm-7:30pm, is open for all teachers, who are at any stage of their profession and from any school type.
A TeachMeet is an organised but informal meeting for teachers to share good practice, practical innovations and personal insights in teaching. The event will feature 10 seven minute presentations from teachers attending, related to the theme “Inclusion, Innovation and Inspiration”. These presentations can be linked to any area of the curriculum or pastoral care, and will highlight something from current practice that the presenter would like to share with others.
Participants are asked to submit these presentations before the event, and then up to ten people are chosen by the random generator to present on the evening. When signing up for your Eventbrite ticket using the link below, you can choose whether you would like to listen or indicate if you would like to present at some stage during the night if your name is chosen by the generator. We will be in touch shortly after you register to provide further details.
Lagan College will provide a welcoming space to learn from one another and be inspired by colleagues, or to give a presentation yourself! There will be plenty of information stands offering the chance to win prizes and a buffet will be provided.
