Responding to the SEUPB PEACEPLUS survey

The Special EU Programmes Body is finalising plans for a new funding programme, PEACEPLUS, which seeks to support peacebuilding work in NI and the border counties of Ireland.

PEACEPLUS is intended to replace the PEACE and INTERREG Programmes, whilst building on their achievements.

Responding to the SEUPB PEACEPLUS surveyThere is currently a public consultation to help develop the shape and content of the programme. Contributions are invited from individuals and organisations, whether you have been involved in previous SEUPB programmes or not.

The Fund feels that it is an important opportunity to highlight the role of integrated education in working towards the programme’s declared aim of contributing to “a more prosperous and stable society” and to promote the model for successful cross-community work provided by integrated schools.

The closing date is 28 February;  There is a guidance document which can be found here. In case it is useful for other stakeholders wishing to contribute, the IEF responses to specific questions in the consultation can be found here.

Please note, the preferred format for responses is SurveyMonkey: and nb you do not have to answer all questions in the survey.
