Garden Show Ireland 2011

What ‘integration’ means to us

Two year 12 students from integrated colleges in Antrim have enjoyed working with a professional artist to produce a celebration of integration.

Victoria Price, Head girl at Parkhall Integrated College* and Aimee Laverty, a prefect at Crumlin Integrated College have been collaborating under the guidance of Nicola Russell, a renowned Belfast artist. Nicola has long been an advocate of integration and has supported the IEF with other projects. She has recently completed a portrait of Naomi Long, who also is a supporter of integrated education, which will hang in Belfast City Hall. (more…)
